• Location: 10 towards the top of La Ramblas close to Paca Catalunya; easy walk to port Vell (10 mins).
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 very quiet bar - which suited us; not open to public, although shuts early for guests too; reception always well staffed
• Staff: 10 cannot speak highly enough - very friendly and helpful but also discreet.
• Quietness: 10 extremely good glazing meant no street noise despite room facing la Ramblas; was told hotel did not take groups and it showed - hardly aware of any other guests at all although hotel was full.
• Room: 10 smallish but perfectly adequate facilities with round jacuzzi bath; requested room with view over la Ramblas and were given one.
• Value for money: 10

• Negative: Problems with our wireless internet connection - BUT - the front desk staff brought up a cable right away and we were connected again quickly.

• Quietness: 7.5 Our room faced the courtyard, so no problems with street noise; however, we could easily hear any noises from the corridor outside our room. No problem hearing people in their rooms, though.
• Room: 10 We had a beautiful superior room with a separate sitting / desk area, two TVs, AWESOME dual adjustable bed (nice surprise) and a fabulous bathroom with a large shower and a separate jacuzzi tub. Truly wonderful.
• Value for money: 10
