• Overall rating: 8.1
• Would you recommend it? Yes
• Positive: Its location at the marina, the tour bus stops are right outside (50mtrs in front) and %27La Rambla%27 is a short walk as is the metro stop (500mtrs). It is also a quiet peaceful location when there are no overnight ferries (these are 1 every couple of days). Is a great business hotel with good access to the World Trade Centre and the city.
• Negative: The overnight ferrys that arrive once every couple of days, may not be for everyone. Definitely a business oriented hotel, lacks some of the niceties that a pure a leisure orientated hotel has.
• I RECOMMEND it for... Couples, Luxury, Peace seekers, Modern style lovers, Handicapped, Business travelers, Travelers with a car, Healthy lifestyle
• I recommend it especially AGAINST... Young travelers, Older travelers, Families, Classic style lovers, Budget travelers

• Common facilities and services: 7.5 The faclilities were generally good for a 5-start hotel. Though the lobby bar was being refurbished at the time and looked to be available when we were leaving.
• Staff: 7.5 Staff were helpful and attentive, though there was a slight language barrier and didn%27t understand some room service requests or what the bed turndown services was although they advertised it on a card left on the pillow!
• Quietness: 7.5 Although rooms were quite, we were in a suite (541) which was a corner room that over looked the marina. Unfortunately on a couple of occasions a ferry was bearthed in the marina and no amount of sound proofing can keep the noice of its engines silent. To be fair it wasn%27t too obtrusive, unless you are a light sleeper.
• Room: 7.5 Our suite room (541) would have got 5 stars, however it is marked down because of some nice touches I believe should be there for a 5-star hotel and I have experienced in others of the same level. First there were no tea or coffee making facilities (I have never stayed in a hotel that has not had these facilities, especially not a 5-star). It used low quality toilet paper and hand tissues. The towels could have been better quality, though they were clean and still acceptable. The cable to connect your laptop to the Internet was not long enough and they were not able to provide a longer one, this ment having to sit on the footrests in front of the TV to use the laptop or re-arrange the living room area so that a table was moved in front of the TV.
• Value for money: 7.5 Yes, overall it is a good hotel and of good value. The rooms were clean and the hotel areas were nice. Also the staff were pleasant and helpful.

• Negative: It took a LONG time for my "express" laundry. My buddy got all of his laundry the day before in less time than my express laundry took.

• Location: 5 It was a nice area and semi-quiet...minus the occasional horn blast. It is a little ways away from the touristy areas though which is both good/bad.

• Staff: 10 The staff assisted me and my friend with EVERY request. They answered all our questions and even walked us around to find an ATM and a Salsa club! The service is the BEST thing about the hotel. This FULLY makes the price worth it! Anyone can find a nice looking hotel, but to couple a BEAUTIFUL hotel with OUTSTANDING service is another thing entirely!
• Quietness: 7.5 except for the occasional horn blast.
• Room: 7.5 The shower needs a curtain to prevent the water from hitting the floor.

• Quietness: 7.5 A room at the back was very quiet, although I understand this can get noisier on weekends.
• Room: 10 Top-of-the-range design and comfort, they%27ve really thought of every tiny detail and the execution is top-rate.
• Value for money: 7.5 A lavish buffet breakfast was a tad expensive at 22 euros when there are so many other choices a few minutes away.
