• Positive: The staff was friendly, the location is central
• Negative: although reserved and paid for the Hotel Meninas, upon arrival we were informed, that it is overbooked, so we'll have to walk to the nearby hotel, H Òpera and stat there. This was disappointing, as this hotel has a different style and optics. The room was run down seventies/eighties style, upon arrival not paricularly clean, some of the furniture, bathroom armary broken, as well as all the equipment in the gym, that are not functioning. unpleasant is, that in front of our window there is a busstation where they let the motor run for standing busses for a very long time and till late in the night. the closed windows do not isolate the streetnoise. despite of all this we had a nice stay. the beds were prepared nice every day, the breakfast buffet was nice. I wrote down all the negatives only with the motivation to give a feed back to the hotel, where to improve.

• Cleanliness: 5 feathers everywhere upon arrival, probably from making the bed
• Location: 5 central location, however beside a very busy and noisy bus station
• Common facilities and services: 5 some facilities are broken, all facilities are visibly old
• Staff: 10 very kind both at the reception and in the breakfast buffet
• Quietness: Not rated windows let the streetnoise through, drivers let motors of standing busses run till late in the night in front of the window
• Room: 5 nothing spectacular, no view
• Value for money: 5
