• Location: 10 I can't think of a better location in central Madrid.
• Common facilities and services: 10 The lounges are first-rate, as is the restaurant.
• Staff: 10 Everyone I dealt with was excellent, and all seemed to have enough English to get by in that language. No complaints at all.
• Quietness: 7.5 Not the hotel's fault, but sometimes late-arriving guests aren't as quiet as they might be
• Room: 10 The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable.
• Value for money: 10 I would stay here again, without any hesitation, if I had occasion to return to Madrid.

• Negative: the lift didn't work so we have to climb the stairs to reach our room at the 4th floor everytime. I would have appreciated if they aked me method of paymet at the check-out: they charged the grand total on the credit card without asking.
