• Value for money: 7.5 On the first visit I was charged a higher rate and was given a good room on a lower floor. On my second visit 2 weeks later I signed up for a special room rate, paid less and got a larger room on a higher floor. But on both visits the rooms were clean, well located and the check-in/check-out very quick and efficient.

• Quietness: 2.5 Walls are thin and corridors are noisy. The doors all slam so you can hear people coming and going, especially in the morning. Suitcases clatter over door thesholds.

• Positive: I Loved this place. Central location, little balcony over the busy square, attached cafeteria for breakfasts and drinks later in the day. It was our first stop in Spain, and gave us an easy and happy entry to the country. The front desk staff were superb, as was Pedro, who works constantly.
