After my travels all over the world, the hotels which welcomed me with their style and atmosphere, from this great adventure I dreamt of a large house. Thus was born the Villa Fenelon. - Positive: comfortable room, ni ce reception area and courtyard close proximity to Opera and Gard du Nord
- Negative: hand shower only nowhere to hook it up- managed to shower whole batrhroom as no showerscreen

- Positive: Friendky, helpful staff and also liked the art-deco period decor - the room faced the inner courtyard, was quiet, very clean and fresh. Petit dejeuner was good quality and quantity, Art-deco was a surprise, but definitely in keeping with the "villa" - and it had a lift (we were on the third floor) No brickbats!

- Cleanliness: 10 Bed linen and bath towels, etc., very clean - no complaints.
- Location: 10 Great choice of restaurants - shops (magasins) open until late - quiet street - no entry from busy thoroughfare - opposite synagogue so particularly quiet.
- Common facilities and services: 7.5 Assistance from manager could not be faulted; breakfast room delightful outlook into courtyard with beautiful flowers, etc - tranquil spot in the centre of the city. We did not have our computer with us and they provided free internet usage (we had been charged for this service at other hotels).
- Staff: 7.5 Courteous and helpful
- Quietness: 10 Room with inner courtyard views - we could actually leave the window open at night! - No noise!!
- Room: 7.5 Adequate for all our needs.
- Value for money: 10 We were surprisingly pleased - location, room, cleanliness, staff - all added to a very pleasing stay.

- Quietness: 2.5 Our room was facing the street, a lot of noise was heard though the window and walls.
