• Negative: the lack of coffee and tea in the room. Only one sachet of coffee per day plus one decaff, one tea plus one manzilla or something? On two occasions we got nothing and had to phone the front desk and on one occasion we were never given any toiletries

• Location: 10 Hotel is within easy walking distance of many of Madrid's main tourist attractions, restaurants and nightlife.
• Common facilities and services: 10 Lovely swimming pool and sun deck, comfortable common seating areas throughout the hotel.
• Staff: 10 Lovely staff, multilingual, very helpful and calm even when they were stretched at busy times.
• Quietness: 10 The soundproofing in the room was amazing. When the balcony door was shut, outside noise disappeared completely.
• Room: 10 Good sized room, comfortable bed, TV, fridge, iron, ironing board, trouser press, excellent shower.
• Value for money: 10 This hotel was excellent value - we've paid more for a lot less comfort and amenity in the past.
