• Location: 10 Near train station. Tour bus stop. Restaurants, fastfood everywhere. Currency exchange.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 Luggage storage. Vending machine. Tour maps.
• Staff: 10 Courteous. Considerate, they checked me in earlier. So glad because Im very tired from long travel.
• Quietness: 5 well some tolerable noise. It was fine.
• Room: 7.5 Happy to get a room facing the street. Bed comfortable. The lighting though is very dim.
• Value for money: 10 Price reasonable affordable in French Riviera.

• Positive: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very near tram and train station. Air conditioning worked wonderfully. Room was small but adequate for our stay in Nice. We only needed a cool room with a comfortable bed and that is exactly what we got. We stayed 11 nights and the area and hotel was quiet and safe after dark. They helped us order a taxi and it was on time! There is a hall bathroom on each floor in additional to the private bath in our room. Perhaps that extra bathroom is from the days when there was only a shared toilet on each floor. The rooms use electronic key locks and our double pane window that overlooked the street was openable and kept the noise out quite well.
• Negative: The hotel did have signs of a major upgrade which was very nice. However, the door to our room was very hard to open because it dragged on the carpet. A caution to seniors.. the shower is elevated about 6 inches above floor level and one must be careful not to slip and fall while exiting the shower. Elevator is only big enough for 2 persons and one large bag.
• I RECOMMEND it for... Young travelers, Older travelers, Couples, Peace seekers, Budget travelers, Business travelers
• I recommend it especially AGAINST... Handicapped
• Cleanliness: 7.5 our room had several light stains on the carpet, but the rest of the room was spotless.
• Location: 7.5 Tram and train station within walking distance. Small grocery store two doors down, bakery, bar and several restaurants only half block away. Police station practically across the street. The tramway is a pedestrian walkway all the way down to Place Masenna. We walked from the Pedestrian Zone (many restaurants) from Masenna up to our hotel many nights just to walk off dinner.

• Staff: 10 Very helpful and friendly.
• Quietness: 10 during our 11 night stay the only noise we heard was when people started waking up after about 8 in the morning.
• Room: 5 Small... but it's about the same as all the older French hotels I have stayed in.
• Value for money: 10 Your staff is what makes this hotel great!
