The Malcontenta began operating on 6th June 2005 and is the first luxury hotel in Palamós. In our hotel you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the marvellous setting during the day and breathe an almost magical air at night. Throughout the inside of the hotel the decoration has achieved a palatial style, creating the ideal backdrop for your stay. White walls and woodwork, domed and well preserved ceilings and a wonderful wooden floor made from old French oak trunks, giving a very warm touch. All of this in clean and radiant rooms with furniture from all corners of Europe. French antiques share spaces with Russian rugs, oriental pieces and even pieces of modern design.

  • Positive: I visited this hotel when it first opened. I had just lost my father and was needing to be left alone. The whole staff were very understanding and looked after me so well. I was very impressed. I remember they put a table and chair outside away from the hotel looking out over the and in the moonlight. It was truely beautiful. The accomodation is second to none and the food was the best i had eaten in spain. The setting is beautiful. I would recommend this beautifully presented hotel highly. If only they would tell me where i could get the gorgeous black rugs with roses on. That would make my day !!! Lesley Adams x

  • Positive: Es un 5* pero con trato familiar, relajado, no hay que estar perfecto a todas horas, el personal hace que te sientas como en casa. Cuando vuelves hasta parece que les haga ilusión volver a verte.
