• Positive: The apartment was extremely clean and quite new. Appliances were in great shape. Reception was very nice, and contrary to some reviews, spoke very good English. Air conditioner was perfect, a godsend.
• Negative: -The kitchen is altogether useless for cooking. It needs some serious stocking. There was one knife, no cutting board, no bowls, cooking implements, etc. -WiFi - 1) it costs an extra 4 euro/day and 2) the receptionist warned us that the connection was slow and unreliable. He also said that we could get WiFi at most bars, restaurants and public squares in Barcelona. That turned out to be false. Getting free WiFi that actually works in the city is quite a task. -Trying to talk to the receptionist on the phone when we were away from the apartment was a nightmare - the phone calls sometimes forward to a sister office in another part of town, where the receptionist just said "you'll have to back to the hotel to talk to your receptionist in person".
